When i install Star diagnostic EPC software program,i got the EWA Client Tools error “EPC failed to validate certificate. The application will not be executed”
Solution from MBStarTool:
Don’t try to update your java. Uninstall java completely, reboot and install java from the EWA server download page
It’s a certificate issue.
Uninstall all Java versions and reinstall Java SE8 update 40 from the “download” section of EPC.net. See pic below.
Yes you will be behind, yes you will get the “upgrade nag”, and yes you will be taking a slight security risk. But it’s the only way.
