How to disable fog lights with SD C4 Star Diagnostic System (SDS)

Equipment:
SD Connect C4 diagnostic system
Dell D630 laptop

Software is pre-installed and activated if you get the buddle dealer: SD Connect C4 diagnostic multiplexer and DELL D630 laptop.

This function needs DAS Develop mode. You will not do yourself but get it done at dealer. With Developer Mode you can do irreversible setting changes (damage) and you can even deploy airbags.

STARSHOP has got the Develop Mode authorized (older version 2012, 2013 HDD software needs open Dev. mode authorization but 2014 HDD only needs password to enter) before purchase.  But you need Xentry special function password keygen / generator to calculate the special function password. Detail instructions:

Run a self-test
Select vehicle model in vehicle model selection menu
Come to the control module program and select Control units option button
 
Go to Body
 
Select SAM-F-Signal acquisition and actuation module front option
 
In this image "Actuations" is crossed out as the danger zone. In actuations you can test features in modules. You can actuate the speedometer and test it if you feel your speedometer doesn't work well. Check your airbag pop to view well what happens if you go into airbag and actuate airbags.
 
Select Control unit adaption under main menu of control module SAMV
 
Select VCD-Abbiegelicht

Pull down the drop-down menu and select Disable. Press F3 button to enable the option and change the status from Present to Disable

Turn off ignition so the setting will be saved.
